Yes, We Have A Co-Pilot
The classical definition of a sous chef is second in command in the kitchen. Sort of like the co-pilot on an airplane. Jay Allis is our co-pilot, assisting our executive chef to ensure that all recipes, food preparations and presentations meet our stringent KW standards.
Jay’s daily responsibilities may include brainstorming on new creations or receiving and inspecting ingredients for quality assurance. Not to mention the unexpected additional duties that come with orchestrating a major catered event (or flying an airplane).
Before joining our team, Jay served in cooking and management roles at several highly regarded Nashville restaurants.
